Anyone know of a way to do extended loging on a RAS/VPN
server?

Ras seems to only log successfull logons to it's logfile.
The event log will show invalid logons but these events
are not logged to thr RAS logfile along with the IP of
the invalid logon attempt.

Thanks,

Don

I think you are better off using firewall log for more detailed info
matching times in the two logs - either at the perimeter or a personal
firewall on the rras server. Sygate Pro has some pretty extensive logging
abilities [can sort by column also], even if firewall function is turned
off. -- Steve

install IAS on the VPN server and select the IAS node in the IAS UI, right
click go to properties and enable " log failed authentication" and apply
that should do the trick
