RAS / Connection on GSM Modem

Hello,

We are currently using Windows XPe in one of our products and added a
GSM mobile to our device to allow dialin calls. This is used for
customers to transfer data from our device.
I am facing a problem right now that when a customer dials in and
disconnects the connection in an "abnormal" way the connections stays
open and is not discovered as closed by the RAS. I verified this by
using the 'netsh ras client' command. The modem is really disconnected
because by calling it again it rings but the RAS does not answer.
I also tried enabling logging and did some search in the web but did not
find anything. What I am wondering is that neither the PPP logs or any
other logs tell me something. Aren't there any keepalive messages (I
though so).
If this is of impact. We have applied SP1 and are using a Wavecom
GSM/GPRS Modem (I don't have the product number ready but I think its a
M2106B).

Kind regards,
Christian Walter
