Dear all,
I'm having problem with rasman services. It keep prompt me
the error (pls refer below) each time i tried to start the
services. Please help. The error are extracted from the
event logs.
RasMan (system log)
Remote Access Connection Manager failed to start because
it could not create buffers. Restart the computer. Access
is denied.
Service Control Manager (system log)
The Remote Access Connection Manager service terminated
with the following error:
Access is denied.
Perflib (app log)
The Open Procedure for service "RemoteAccess" in
DLL "C:\WINNT\System32\rasctrs.dll" failed. Performance
data for this service will not be available. Status code
returned is data DWORD 0.
rasctrs (app log)
The description for Event ID ( 2001 ) in Source (
rasctrs ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have
the necessary registry information or message DLL files to
display messages from a remote computer. The following
information is part of the event: .
