Ranger Finder lines don't appear

Hi,

The Subject line to this says it all, really -- one minute the range
finder lines appeared as normal when I was altering a formula - the
next, nothing, no range finder lines from any cell with formulas.

This has happened before, too.

Any ideas, anyone?

Office 2000, Win 2000

This question has come up before but I can't make it happen. I am using
Windows XP rather than 2000 but the OS is rarely the cause of anomalies.
Sorry, no ideas.
