Random words double underlined

I am not sure if I am in the correct place to post this or what, but I was
hoping someone would be able to give me some clue how to fix my problem.
Starting yesterday, when I vist webpages random phrases will be highlighted
blue, with a double underline. When I put my mouse over it, a box will come
up with some website. I take online courses for college and it does this in
discussion boards and things like that. I have no idea where it came from or
how to stop it. Its very annoying!! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

First eliminate any spyware.

In WinXP SP2: You can fix Winsock by going to Start | Run and typing
CMD

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function

Hi, I appreciate your help. But the problem doenst seem be be fixed. I have
also been having problems with my internet explorer just closing by itself.
Im not sure what to do. I have been trying tons of things. Anything else you
can recommend would be really appreciated. Thank You.
