Random Start Up

It seems that my computer has taken to starting up at random times. It does
not seem to matter if its in hibernation, standby or shut down. Further, the
time of day seems not to matter. There is nothing scheduled to start (that i
know of). Its a Toshiba Satellite 2750 notebook running XP Pro - it also
happens with the lid clos

Any ideas? Thanks for any help
 
ill give it a shot. if on a lan, is wake on lan option selected?. i belive
thats in your nic properties
 
Its not on a LAN. I'll check out the settings there either way. I
appreciate the idea. Anyothers?
 
go to geekradio.com. got spyware. try the spybot,cwshredder,adaware.I learned
alot from this site. They have alot of radio archives{not promoting}
otherwise try to google it. google.com
are you behind a router?
