I have been experiencing for quite awhile random shutdowns, and I have yet to figure out the cause. I could have my virus scan doing a scheduled scan and it will shut down, clicking a file, or just moving a mouse, and my system will just shut down and reboot. I have quite a few minidump files, and I have downloaded the Debugging Tool for Windows XP and the symbols the program requires. I look at the minidumps, but it isn't really telling me (the lay person) what is going on. I do get messages about reporting the problem on the start up after the reboot. It announces I can send the info to Microsoft. When I do that it tells me that it is a Device Driver problem, but it doesn't tell me what driver. I haven't installed anything new in my machine in quite awhile. Here is the minidump Debugger info
