Random printing in TS

Hello,

Here is my scenario: We have 2 outer offices that TS
into one Windows 2000 TS at our corporate office. Each
user has their own local printer which is re-directed at
login. Everything seems to work as it should most of the
time. My challenge is that every now and then (about 2
or 3 times a month) a user will print and the print job
will print out on someone else's printer, and normally to
a different office than theirs. When this has happened I
have had the user check their print properties and the
default printer is set to their local printer even though
the print job went to a different printer. I have ruled
out that the user is mistakenly selecting the wrong
printer. When this starts happening, normally a reboot
will fix it for awhile. Does anyone have any ideas? I
have searched the KB and this group and have not found
any solutions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Greg

Thank you for the reply Vera! KB Article 317780 I had to
deal with earlier. We have 2 clients that use HP DeskJet
720 and 722. I think there were a couple other clients I
had to custom map. But I did follow this KB article to
create these mappings. So, I don't think it is that.
The other 2 articles listed below did not apply to me
either. I have been thinking about something and was
wondering if you or anyone else would have some thoughts
on this. Now and then our clients will get disconnected
because of an internet glich or user error. Many times
when they log back in it will create a second session.
And leave the first session disconnected. So if I go
into TS manager I will see one active session for the
user and sometimes up to 3 disconnected sessions for the
same user. I'm wondering if this could have anything to
do with it? Maybe picking up one of their old TS ports
or something? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
again!

Thanks Vera! I'll give that a shot and see if it helps.
Looks like it might do the trick.
