Randomly, and I have no idea what triggers it, every window that is open on
my computer shows up as a miniature window that allows me to select which
window I want to bring up. It's not thumbnails, like the ones you get when
you ALT+TAB to scroll through the open programs. Each one literally takes up
about 25% of the screen. But it does it when I'm typing in word, or surfing
the web, or anything else that I'm running. I don't know if it's in the
intellimouse settings or somewhere in the way the views are set, but I can't
seem to find a solution. Please help.

is this on a laptop? sounds like some preloaded junk software that
some compaqs/Hp's come with. check your add/remove software list and
figure out if anything is there may be the cause, or if it is a
laptop, check the website for your model and see what it comes loaded
with and ask the support how to disable it.

Flamer.

Unfortunately, they're desktops. They're both Acer's. And they've been
running just fine for over a year. And both the pc's just started doing this
at the same time. Which makes me wonder if a windows update might have had
something to do with it. I have no clue. But I'm tempted to restore them to
about a week prior to see if it stops it. And then if it does it again, make
a note of the updates that were performed and contact microsoft about it.

do a ctrl+alt+del and look at the processes tab, that shows everything
running on your computer, look for anything that could be related, if
your lucky it might have a name like "TabScroll.exe" or something, if
you find anything put it in google and see what it is. Otherwise just
go through oen for one putting the names into google and seeing what
each process is. it does sound like an update though, but I doubt it
would be from Microsoft. Good luck.
