Random font-size change when copying and pasting

At random times and in random documents, the font size changes when I paste.
My normal.doc is set at size ten Times new Roman. Occasionally I write notes
to myself concerning specific bits of paragraphs I've written and set those
notes in size two font. Sometimes when I copy and paste, or sometimes when I
edit, the size ten will shift to size twelve Times New Roman, but the size
two will stay size two. Why is the font reverting to size twelve? It is not
my default font; in fact, I never use it.

The pasting option of keeping my formatting is on, so it isn't that--nor
does it happen all of the time. I'm stumped.

Are you using ACCESS, the desktop database software program in Office? Or
are you using WORD? If the latter, I recommend that you post to a Word
newsgroup, as this group is for ACCESS.

If you're using ACCESS, tell us where you're pasting the text -- into a
table? into a query's field? into a form's label?

If what you copy includes the end of the paragraph it will include formating
information. Make sure you copy only the body and the paste area formating
will be used.
