RAM Upgrade

When I upgrade my RAM from 512 to 896, XP Home wont start
up. Gives error with "system32\drivers\fastfat.sys"

Know any way to fix?

Did you ensure the old RAM was completely compatible with the new?

did you match ram speed and chipset. just using same
number of pins on card is not only thing to match.
if new speed does not match old speed this might happen.

if old pc100 insert new pc100 etc....
