RAM Upgrade

Hi, I currently have a DELL Latitude C510 Notebook which currently has
factory set 256 MB of RAM installed. I wish to increase the size of the RAM.
How do I go about doing this please?

Figure out what type of RAM you need to buy, how many available slots you
have to put it in (if none - know you will lose the current memory - not be
adding to it) and buy it, install it, continue using your laptop with the
new memory in it.

To me the question indicates a person with limited knowledge of
computers............my advice would be to take the laptop to a qualified
service depot and have them do the RAM upgrade.
If this was a desktop I might have given detailed instructions or at least a
website with pictures but it being a Laptop....where space is tight and
opening the unit will void whatever warranty you have left I suggest a
service depot.
