ram upgrade q

I bought 1 gig 2+512 c2 matched pair then found out I didnt have a dual
channel mobo. I have 2 slots + 2 gig max , would a 1 g stick be better for
overclocking and games? With windows 64 would I still have 2 gig max with
my mobo. Thanks abit nf8
 
Yes, your motherboard's limit is 2 GB of RAM, regardless of the OS.
