Kingston ram 1G set of two?

Hi all, I have two sticks of Kingston ram with this on the sticker:

KVR533D2N4K2/1G
Kit of 2 1.8V

I ran memtest 86+ to make sure they are good to use but memtest sees them as
512MB sticks and not 1 gig sticks, is this because they are a "kit of 2" to
make the 1 gig or is there a bios setting I have missed?

Thanks, GK.

They are two 512KB sticks sold as a pair to make 1GB total. The 1GB sticks
are labeled KVR533D2N4K2/2G.

K2/1G = "Kit of two sticks, forming a total of 1 gigabyte of memory".

Stated another way, it's 2x512MB.
