RAM running low

I have 128MB of RAM, which I guess is also
called "physical memory". According to my computer's log,
I only have 10.36MB of "available physical memory". I'm
guessing that this is why my programs are running so
slowly. What can I do to speed up my computer? I have
plenty of space on my hard drive.

You need more ram.

I would recommend upgrading to at least 256 megs, if not more.

If your PC will support it, go right past 256mb and add
512mb to your 128.

With XP, performance improves significantly by installing
between 512mb and 1gb. Beyond 1gb, the rate of
improvement slows, but it is especially valuable if you
are working with very large graphic or video files.
