RAM R/W TEST FAILED - Latest

J

jw

I have discovered that most likely the problem is a faulty RAM module.
I have two 2GB'ers. When I remove the second one, the error
disappears and I get a good boot. When I replace it, I get the same
error. When I try running with only the second one, I get the error.

I now not only get the error message, but sometimes I simply do not
boot at all - just a blank screen.

Anyway I have returned the RAM module to the vendor for replacement.

Thanks for helps and advices.

Okay - I was just trying to reduce the chains of re: re: re: re: re:
re: re: ,,,,,,

Someone complained about that some time ago. At least that was my
impression at that time. Can't win sometimes.

Sorry.

It looks like either your usenet client or server is prepending another
"Re:" each time you reply. If you cannot rectify the automatic behavior,
you could instead just omit the additional "Re:" up in the subject field.

Just get a decent newsreader. Thunderbird is available for Linux,
Macs, and Windoze. They will do that for you.

It seems like the man is using Agent which is more decent than
Thunderbird, but it seems like either his server or somehow he like to mess
up the subject else there should be no more than ONE "RE:"

The man is indeed using Agent. I am not putting the 're:' 's in
myself - my Agent does it for me.
