RAM question

I have a PC with 4 actual slots for RAM. I know that the very last one
is 64MB. When I run a program (Belarc) to do an audit on the machine,
it shows me this
416 Megabytes Installed Memory

Slot '0' has 64 MB
Slot '1' has 64 MB
Slot '2' has 128 MB
Slot '3' has 64 MB
Slot '4' has 32 MB
Slot '5' has 64 MB

Can someone tell me what's happening? Why does it list 6 slots when
there are only 4, and how much RAM does each chip have, and might there
be any that is wasted, as in not showing up or utlizing the full amount?

And the tech support folks at your motherboard manufacturer's web site have
said?

How old is your sys?
What is listed under System for ram?
or Task Manager>Performance>Total physical ram?
We assume its winXP?
