RAM question with A7N8X Deluxe

I have 2x512MB sticks of Kingston DDR333 PC2700 ram with an Athlon XP
2400+, the ram is reported as running at 166Mhz, isn't it supposed to
be running at 333Mhz?

It is. It is Double Data Rate so it is running at 333.(166x2)
