RAM Limit on Windows Home Premium?

I have heard that there is a limit for WIndows Home Premium that it will only
recognize 3.25 gb of ram as a max. Is this true?

Running a 32bit OS, 4gb is the limit. The motherboard takes what it
requires, and whatever is left over becomes usable RAM. This is why
different computers give back varying amounts of RAM. In best case, one
might get 3.5gb, in worst case maybe as low as 2.8gb.

Hi Matt,
If you purchased a retail version of VISTA Home Premium 32bit, then you can
get the 64bit version for just a shipping and handling fee (about $7.00 US).
Of course you can only install one of these at a time.
