Raid 1 problem on Intel S5000VSA

Hello,

I have just purchased Intel's S5000VSA server board with case. I have
two SATA hard-drives (300GB ea).
It will be simple file server for 4-5 computers, so we do not need
server operating system.
What I try to do is to setup RAID 1.
Everything is set in BIOS, also RAID Bios is set to RAID-1 on the two
drives (no other drives installed in the system).
Up to this point everything looks OK.
Next. Windows installer gets the SATA drivers loaded (by F6), after
Intel ESP RAID / Server (theres other option for AHCI) is choosen as
SATA driver. When 'partition choose' screen shows up I see two
physical hard drives.

I've tried different drivers (provided by Intel), mostly SW RAID ERP2,
but they seem not to work (installer loads them and then after
'windows is starting' BSOD apears.

After 2 days, I have no more ideas how to setup the system. Anyone?

Things failing past F6 is grim news. The drivers for XP work, or they don't.
Continue the search for working drivers (assuming good hardware connections)
