Radeon 9500pro (cat3.8) + Flight Sim 2004 = Full Screen Flickers/Flashes !!!

Hello everyone,


I just installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (A Century Of Flight) with
Omega Drivers Catalyst 3.8 (also tried v3.7), it works perfectly alright,
except in full screen mode (highest quality - whatever MIP level).

If I check "Full Screen" in the view settings, the screen flickers and
flashes everytime I right-click to get the drop-down menu or when the view
changes, for example from the menu to the flight itself, etc...

Otherwise, in non full-screen mode, but with the window maximised, there's
no problem.

Does anyone know how to fix the full screen flickering/flashing issue in
FS2004?

OS = Windows XP Pro SP1 (up to date)
PSU = Fortron 350W ATX FSP350-60PN
SND = onboard Realtek ALC655 audio chip
PCI = none installed

I didn't have this problem with the 3.7 and my 9700 pro. (Haven't tested it
with the 3.8's yet) I wonder if changing the in game resolution will be a
fix because I understand that that problem only occurs at certain
resolutions?
