Radeon 8500 fan replacement

Shopping at Princess Auto http://www.princessauto.com in Winnipeg, MB Canada yesterday,
I have come across a replacement fan for the Radeon 8500 as shown here:
- click on the card thumbnail for a detailed view.

http://www.ati.com/products/radeon8500/radeon8500/gallery.html

- they had a few in the surplus fan section of the store. $5.00 CDN

- the fan on mine has been very noisy - intermittently - and the oiling under the sticker has
made it quiet ... for the moment. The replacement is a nice backup though.

- if anyone, anywhere want's a replacement, I will pick up as many as possible and ship to you.

The cost will be $5.00 +tax = $5.75 CDN +postage

- postage to wherever by method of your choice.
ie. Letter postage by Canada Post would be cheap, for example to the USA
http://www.canadapost.ca/personal/offerings/lettermail_personal/us/rates-e.asp
- a padded envelope should be sufficient to send safely.

- PayPal is one payment option that shouldn't cost anything. I can deal with US & Canadian
currency. Other currencies should be converted and may incur a minimal conversion fee.

- I will expect payment prior to shipping.
- I'm perma on eBay and have a 100% positive feedback rating on 19 transactions (although I've
bought at least 40 items). No selling to date.
- I can be reached by email at : perma<at>norcomcable<dot>ca

I have an 8500 and when the fan failed, I just removed it. The card has
worked fine for years..

I saw your post to that effect in another thread. Good info and thanks for adding to this
thread.
For me, I'm not willing to substancially increase the risk of falure by doing this. Your useage
may be such that a lot of heat is not being genereated and therefore no problem(s) result. If
ones useage was extreme and overheating occurs, one may fry the chip and learn it was a bad idea
the hard way. I'd rather be safe than sorry for ~ $6.00 CDN.
