ra <=> wav

I have a Real Audio (.ra) file I need to convert to .wav and force it to a
standard format (16-bit + 44,100 Hz + Stereo) for a generic Wave Player.
Has anyone ever tried/done this successfully?

(remove "X", "Y" and "Z" for my real E-mail address)

Yes! play & record it with "what you hear" setting in recording mixer
It connect line out and line in of your sound card without use external
cable. ;)
