R1C1 switching automatically.

The excell spreadsheet starts off with having Letters A,B,C at the top row.
After clicking on numerous random cells then change to numbers 1,2,3. Simply
clicking R1C1 settings does not help the situation. I believe I need to use a
macro to force the row to stay as Letters A,B,C. What macro could you suggest
for this? Or if there is another idea please let me know. Thank you.

It sounds as if you need to find the macro that is changing it *to* R1C1,
and then disable that unwanted feature.

There are no macros enabled on this excell worksheet. It doesn't happen with
any other worksheest created by this issue of Microsoft Excell.
