The family cat Ellie a lovely tortoise shell and about 19yrs had a seizure earlier this afternoon.
Sadly at 1840 (6.40pm) she was put to sleep by the local vet.
A great cat, loving family pet that will be sorely missed.
But she did have a good life and provided lots of cuddles & laughs.

Always sad when you lose a family member, even when it is a pet.

I remember losing our Old English Sheepdog many years ago. I took him to the vet and came home without him. The house seemed so empty. :(

Sorry to hear Feckit.
The loss of a well loved family pet, is a very unpleasant experience.
Like you, I've always taken solace in that the pet was treated well and was in a loving family, and given the best life that it possible could have had.
