Quirk found on Tab Control Status Bar Text

Hi,

Using Access 97 here.

Not really a problem, but I never noticed this before.
Just want to confirm this is accurate.

On a Tab Control each page has under its Properties' list
an option called "Status Bar Text." However, these don't
work at all. Period. And I've tested numerous times. If I
just click the tab at the top, the focus is there, but the
status bar just says the generic "Form View" thing.

If I select the Tab Control itself and put something under
status bar text this works, but it is the same for EVERY
page of the tab I click on it!

Not that this is a big deal, but why then is that option
even listed under the properties options for each page??

Just curious,

I just tried this with Access 97 and it worked perfect for me. I created a new form
with a TabControl having two pages. I set the StatusBarText to "Page 1" and "Page 2"
respectively. In normal view the status bar displays the text associated with each
page. In fact I could find no way to see the StatusBarText of the TabControl itself
which I had set to "Control".
