SubForm on Tab(1) does not have descriptive text on status bar

I have a form with two subforms on a tab control. When running the subform
on Tab(0) shows the descriptive text for each field on the status bar.
Switch to the form on Tab(1) and I don't get the descriptive text.

If I open the Tab(1) subform directly I get the descriptive text. Just not
when it is on the tab.

I made a dummy table with descriptive text, made a subform, added a tab,
added the new subform to the new tab. I get the text.

I have no clue as to what I may have done differently with the subform on
Tab(1).

Has anyone else encountered this?

Hi,

Not repro with 2003.

I open Northwind, create a new from, add a tab control on it, drag and drop
table Employees on it, click Finish on the first page of the wizard. Change
the tab control to page 2, on which I dropped table Customers, finish the
wizard again. In normal view, page 1 in focus, I click in EmployeeID, I get
its description in the status bar. Page 2, cursor in CustomerID, I get its
description in the status bar.

If that is also your case, that would indicate a problem with your actual
application, but if the problem you describe still appear in Northwind,
after the steps I indicated, then, it is either a problem with your
configuration, either a bug.

Hoping it may help,

In the Northwind.mdb I tried by dragging the forms over instead of the
tables. I do get descriptions on the status bar on those fields that have
status bar text.

Why it works in Northwind and not in my database is now the question I need
to resolve.
