Quicktime error message

When I log on I get an error message:
The application or DLL c:\WINDOWS\System32\QuickTime.qts
is not a valid Windows image. Please check this gainst
your instillation diskette.

The problem effects my quick time player and Java
functions.

Can anyone help?
