quicktime converted avi in powerpoint

I am running office xp sp2 in windows xp pro sp1 & in powerpoint since
upgrading to winxp sp1 the playback of some of my avi clips imbedded in
powerpoint slide shows will not play back. They play back fine in window
media player however in powerpoint when you try to play them they appear as
a white space on the screen. The avi's were created using quicktime pro & I
did not have any problems with them until I upgraded to winxp sp1. This
problem is really baffling me, has anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried re-installing quicktime pro?

Please test the AVI by going to Start/Run and typing in mplay32.exe
