Quick question

i am trying to delete a corrupt folder off windows XP that i can't delete
normally so i am trying to use the command prompt technique.

i type
rmdir filename

but i get message access denied, what causes this and how do i stop this
message from coming up?

Other information that might help

The folder has subfolders within
we only have one account and i am a administrator
The folder contains gigs of information

del filename

or try the deletion from Safe Mode.

Google a proggie called "Unlocker". Hasn't let me down yet. It's a windows
explorer extension that works a charm.
