Quick Launch

Is there a way to move the Quick Launch Bar to the left side. Not the whole
Task Bar just the Quick Launch Bar. I have always been able to do this
prior releases of Windows.

Yes, you must first right click the taskbar and unlock it. You'll now be
able to drag the toolbar over to wherever you want it. When you are done you
can lock the task bar again to prevent anything from being moved
accidentally.

I beg to differ......I cannot get just the Quick Launch to move - the entire
taskbar moves. And it is unlocked........

You must be dragging the wrong gripper or whatever you call them. Look for
the one directly to the left of the quick launch area. Your cursor will turn
into a horizontal bar when you hover over it. Don't try to drag the quick
launch toolbar itself.

Nope. Still nothing. I get the horizontal bar when I hover over the
gripper bar but when I right click to grab it just changes to the double
vertical bars but nothing happens when I move it.

Drag it straight to the left along the task bar, it will not move or appear
to do anything at all until you get past the toolbar for running
applications (not sure what that one is called). As soon as you drag all the
way over to the system tray it should jump over. Alternately you can just
drag the second toolbar gripper to the right, this way might be easier.
