Quick launch

S

Shelby

I am running XP2, home edition, and have kept my updates current.

Somewhere along the way, my quick launch toolbar setting would not stay
'set'.

I have tried to set it by right clicking in the quick launch space, and
clicking 'quick launch' under toolbars. It will stay 'set' for that session
but is gone the next time that I boot.

I have also used the 'start menu and task bar properties' menu where I have
clicked 'show quick launch' & apply and it will stay 'set' for that session
but is gone the next time that I boot.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

After rebooting, when you've lost it, before you re-enable it, check to see
that this folder exists:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch

If it does not, create it then reenable the QuickLaunch bar.
