Quick launch toolbar pops up during slide show

Using Powerpoint 2003, with my Windows XP Quick launch toolbar docked on the
right side of the screen (like the old Office toolbar), occasionally the
toolbar pops up in the middle of a slide show for no apparent reason. Very
annoying and frustrating. Any ideas?

Do you have other applications running in the background? Close everything
you do not need, e.g. Outlook.

Best regards,

Ute,

Nothing else running, other than the normal system tray icons - no Outlook,
no other Office apps, no MSIE. Just Powerpoint. What could cause the quick
launch toolbar to take focus away from the slide show?

Thanks.

In this case I don't have a solution. Maybe one of the others knows
something. Or you post your question in a Windows newsgroup, for this
problem does not seem to be caused by PowerPoint.

Best regards,

Does the "Quick launch toolbar " = "Windows task bar"? If so, how
about "Lock task bar" before your presentation?
