Quick Launch Tool Bar

after setting my propteries "Show Quick Launch" or by
selecting tool bars -> quick launch to display the quick
launch tool bar everything works fine, but when I turn
off my computer then restart the quick launch tool bar is
not set I always have to reset it. Does anyone know of a
fix for this problem?

Right click a blank space on the QuickLaunch Taskbar and click "Lock the
Taskbar."
