quick launch tool bar

My computer was infected with download.trojan virus. I
finally got rid of it, but seems it damaged some files.
Quicklaunch tool bar is gone, and I cannot restore it.
I have reinstalled Win2kProf, but still no quicklaunch bar.
Help Please.

Right click Taskbar->Toolbars->Quick Launch

I would try running FileMon and/or RegMon from www.sysinternals.com to see
if there is something missing or an access denied being returned.

Also, running SFC/SCANNOW might help if there is some system file corruption

Does this problem occur in Safe Mode ?

Does this folder exist?

C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch

If not, create it.
