I accidentally deleted my "quick launch bar" from my computer entirely
through a "window wash" program.

I miss it.

How do I reinstall? Remember, it no longer exists on my computer. Do I
have to reinstall Windows entirley or can I just install it individually
somehow.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi,

Which window wash program? And was the QL bar an option to remove, the
folder or just the shortcuts on it? In the meantime:

This behavior can occur if the Quick Launch folder has been deleted. To
resolve this issue, recreate the Quick Launch folder. Create a folder named
Quick Launch at the following location:

Windows Explorer\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Good luck and more info if needed!

Rich/Kelly-

Thanks so much. I have restored the quick launch and the "show desktop
icon" (my favorite icon in the world). Can I add the other programs I had in
there before to it as well? Can I just copy and paste?

Thanks again. Your response and instructions were greatly appreciated.

You are most welcome. Each one, teach one comes to mind. :o)

As per your question, make sure the Taskbar is unlocked and drag
accordingly. Good luck and thanks for the feedback. It is greatly
appreciated!
