questions on wlm

Ok transferred from wm to wlm...
All the fuss because I have to use it to read messages from newsgroups...
If outlook has allowed that I would not need to use this program.
MS is keen on confusing people with outlook and wm, wlm...
Simply not a compact solution.

Anyways I have some questions:

1. if I read a message from a newsgroup on wlm and then mark it as read,
will I then see that the message as read when I open wlm on another
computer? Otherwise what is "live" here?

2. Will outlook and wlm sync my calendar ?

another question: I want wlm to open the newsgroup section instead of the
mail section at the start up.
can I arrange this?

1. No, there is no sync for newsgroups.
2. WLM will sync the Windows Live Calendar. I don't know
about Outlook.
