Dear Sir,

Is it possbile to add a function on the Show list, which shows questions we
posted on? I just feel it's a problem for user to find posted questions, if
they have many.
And question management is also a problem as well. For your reference!

Two things

1. Use a News reader instead of that hopeless web interface.
2. Using "Search" will do what you want.

I got a server name, msnews.microsoft.com. And, if I use the Microsoft
outlook,
it isn't a reader for RSS, is it? How can I match a newsgroup to the
relevant discussion group? Thank you!

Wayfarrer,

Thanks for your answer! I've tried Outlook Express. I use newsgroup to
import
discussion topics. But it seems the newgroups on the Microsoft web site
has no relations with the discussion groups. How can I find my questions
which I posted on
the discussion group in the newsgroups?

If you're referring to the web-based newsgroup as the "discussion group", they
are actually one in the same. The only difference is how one accesses this data.

When using OE as your newsreader, be sure that it's setup to display the message
threads in this manner:

1) The sort order should be by descending order of date Sent. Click on View >
Sort by to change.
2) Click on View > Current View, then select "Show All Messages" and then "Group
Messages by Conversation".
3) Click on Tools > Options > Read tab. Enable "Automatically expand grouped
messages" and any other Read feature you desire.

By default, OE will only download 300 messages at a time to your computer. You
can add additional groups of 300 by clicking on Tools > Get Next 300 Headers or
click on the its icon in the toolbar (if present...customize to change).

Your previous messages in this newsgroup may be contained in an earlier group of
messages, so you would have to download additional headers until they're
displayed. Use Find by Message to search. You do not need the exact title in the
search.

Once you become comfortable with the newsreader and you have entered queries
using it, it's a simple matter to view your messages and any responses without
using Find. This can be done by using a keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+H keys to
toggle the display on or off. Note that this is only effective on those messages
that contain your e-mail address as it's configured in the OE news setup for
this server.
