questions about slides without powerpoint

Hi, I've asked this question on MS WOrd but havent gotten the right
reply. I must do a presentation over a projector. I do not have
PowerPoint. but is there a way to make slides using MS WOrd? Any know

You could probably set your Word page size up to something proportional to your
computer screen ( 4/3 ratio, Landscape, say 8 wide by 6 high ) then put it into
fullscreen view.

Nevermind that. It doesn't really work well now that I've had a chance to try it.

Even if your question is the right one, this is probably the wrong place to ask
it. It's a PowerPoint group. We all have PowerPoint, so that's what we'd use for
presentations.

I'd ask in one of the Word-specific groups instead. (note: not Office general
interest groups, but specifically Word)
