OK, I'm an old Pegasus Mail convert, and I'm trying to figure out how
to do some things in Outlook that I've been used to in Pegasus Mail
for years. At the moment I'm working on mailing lists. I have one of
email contacts that I send out to various press people when my company
announces something new.
1) Thing is in Outlook there appears to be no way to have a mailing
list that points to a text file with the email addresses in it.
2) Failing that, there appears to be no way to populate a new list
from an existing text file.
Can either of these things be done? I really do NOT want to add a
couple hundred contacts to my contact lists like that to get them all
in there. If #2 could be done, that wouldn't be so bad, as I do have
the list of email addresses (but no names, just email).
3) When sending to the list, everyone on the list sees everyone else
on the list. How do I get it NOT to do that? This would be a deal
breaker for me, I do not want this to happen, and if it cannot be
resolved, I'm going to have to leave Pegasus Mail installed on my
system for that. Would rather not do that, but I can't have everyone
on the list knowing who else gets the list for professional reasons.
Thanks for any info you can give.
