Where would be the proper place(s) to report things like bugs and stuff,
general feedback, and the like?

After installing Vista there should be a blue circle Icon on the destop that
says feedback. It opens a link page for feedback, newsgroups, and bug
reporting.

Using the blue "Feedback" icon will allow you to download the Windows Beta
Client. With this, you will be able to fill out detailed problem reports.
