I'm still searching the group for solutions svchost.exe related
problems (high CPU usage) as I'm having the same problems as others.
My question is, if I disable the Wireless Zero Configuration services
as recommended by some post, will there be a problem?
Thanks people. appreciate the help I got here.

Not using wireless either, I disable the service but your post prompted me to
get rid of (System Tools->System Information->Loaded Modules) Wzcsvc &
Wzcsapi (wireless zero config modules) in Safe mode. They load even though
the service is disabled. However I found that if they are not present, there
is no network so had to restore them to System32. An unweeded garden gone to
seed.

Don't know about the wireless config, but when I was having the high cpu
usage at odd times I found windows defender scanning was causing the issue.
Dumped it and no problems since.
