Question on VLC 2.0.1 for Windows XP SP3

Does anyone know how to set the file associations *within the VLC program
User Interface* after installing VLC 2.0.1?

(It has changed from previous versions, and is not as obvious as
previously)

Thanks for the response. That was for the previous versions. The obvious
button has been removed in 2.0.1.

You're saying that when you went to the Tools -> Prefences menu that the
"Set up associations" button was missing on the very first panel
presented to you (Interface) using the Simple layout?

Was there a scrollbar for that window? If so, did you scroll down to
see the rest of the window?
