Hello,
I have Outlook 2003 sp2. When I open a saved contact the general tab is
displayed by default. At the bottom of this tab is a "contacts" button, what
is this option used for? I also need to understand how I use the check box
for "private" that is also available from this general tab. Any links humbly
appreiciated. TIA.
Joey

the Contacts button is to associate Contacts with hat Contact if that makes
sense.
Private means that contact is not shared - as when Contacts are shared via
Exchange.

The Contacts box and button allow you to link one contact to another. I use it for example, to link my latest editor (whose name I can never remember) with the name of her predecessor (whom I remember well).

Private: In an Exchange environment, where you're sharing your mailbox Contacts folder with someone else, you'd use that box to prevent other people from seeing certain contacts.
