Question About Vista Recovery (Repair) Disk

Hi,

In connection with a problem getting Vista updates, I downloaded and
burned to CD a Vista Recovery (Repair) Disk. However, either from my
hard drive or from the CD, my PC goes to Windows Media Center. No matter
what icon there I click onto, the CD does not play in any way.Does
anyone know what I did wrong, and how I can get to use the CD, or use
the program on my H.D.? Thanks.

You have to boot from the CD.
