Operating system on the daughter's computer (XP Home, Pro, Media Center,
Vista)? How old is the daughter and what kind of filtering is desired?

http://www.scrubit.com/

If that does not give satisfactory results you could try internet filtering
software; like netnanny, cyberpatrol, safekids, etc. Google for "internet
filtering software".
