question about .NET & PPC

we are writting the documentation of our PocketPC application, and try to
figure out which minimal version of the PPC OS we need to install .NET ?
on which it's already installed ?

something puzzle me, in my PPC about I see
"Microsoft Pocket PC
Version 3.0.11171"

but on the news on the net I always read PPC 2002 or PPC 2003 but it's write
nowhere, so what's the point ?

anyone could shed any light ? information ? tip ? in plain english for dummy
?

Pocket PC 2000 and 2002 are both based on Windows CE 3.0 hence the version
number. I believe build 3.0.11171 is Pocket PC 2002.

The CF works on *all* versions of PPC, so if it's PPC, you're guaranteed a
CF app will run.
