Question about gamma and slower playing speed in Media Player Classic

I once read (but I don't remember where I saw it) that Media Player
Classic can change the gamma and playing speed of a video just like VLC
does. I have the latest version of Media Player Classic and I cannot
find the gamma control. Also, Media Player Classic's "Decrease Speed"
(and the Increase Speed command too) have no effect on a video at all.

Any ideas?

Yeah I wish there was a quick way to make things brighter with MPC. I
now just change the setting on my LCD monitor to daytime movie which is
really good and quick. LG make some good stuff.
