Question about FP cleaner program

Hi,

I was recentley having the same problem as the one posted here:
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgr...&p=1&tid=27ced560-b6ac-41dd-b127-190404c690bc

and I followed the instructions and ran FP cleaner which did not solve the
problem, our ISP people eventually fixed the problem as it was related to a
server update they had performed. My new and improved problem I discovered
yesterday is that the forms on our website no longer work. I contacted our
ISP who compared our site to other sites they were hosting and they told me
it was something I had done. I tried once more to republish the entire site
with the same results. So I restored the FP related items from the recycle
bin, which I assume were sent there by the FP cleaner, and I was going to try
and publish again...but now my log in information is rejected when I try to
sign in and publish.

Ummm...help?

It's not anything FP Cleaner did, it has to do with your host repairing / resetting the
server extensions.

I would: run FP Cleaner again,.
Then open the web and recalculate hyperlinks.
Then publish.

Open a page in your web in IE.
Click File > Edit With FrontPage and see if you can log in.

Nope. Can't do that either. I just hung up with our ISP and she said from
there it looked like the server extensions were working properly and that I
should be able to log in and publish working forms. She's going to look
further.

Thanks for your time.

Well. They were able to fix my login problems by reloading the IIS on the
server, but my forms still don't work. And the last form results I received
were exactly one day before they did the update. I don't think it's anything
I've done, but they still say that my website is the ONLY one they are having
trouble with. Not sure how many websites they are hosting, but its not a
lot.

OK I guess I'm glib, what do you mean republish it using the http address?
That's where I always publish to. And I republished several times yesterday
after they got the log in issue fixed, but the forms still won't work.
