Querying BCM data

Hi there --

I'm trying to build a simple report: show me all CONTACTS where (various
criteria are true) AND the payment status for the ACCOUNT they're associated
with equals PAID.

I have a feeling the reporting functions built into BCM are not robust
enough for what I'm after, but if someone could help me figure out how to
connect with BCM data through Access or SQL, I'd be fine.

Any insight? I'd be grateful.
